A few more useful street herbs which I found this afternoon in the Watergraafsmeer…
Yarrow, still flowering beautifully in areas where grass mowers can’t reach them.
Here’s a mish-mash of edibles and medicinals growing against an apartment block. Wild Rocket in flower, Dandelion, Yarrow and more. There seem to be hundreds of lush Dandelion plants alongside the Middenweg at the moment. Far to close to the road to be very healthy but useful for relocating perhaps.
Urban Herbology 
I am currently studying my diploma of landscape design with my husband and we have been given a brief to design a show type garden. My idea is to integrate “weeds” into my garden plan aesthetically and with purpose. I am going to use information that you have given us on this wonderful site to help me plan my garden. Thank you in advance for shaking up my lecturers perception of “what makes the ideal garden”… no formal garden beds and topiaries from THIS little black duck! đŸ˜‰
